Mahindra Scorpio does a la Hummer H2

I think most of us are familiar with the American Gas Guzzler Hummer, one of its variant is H2 sut. Its noticeable space at the rear brought in a new style statement.

So what's up? Our very own Indian made SUV Scorpio came up with that kind of model called Getaway. The space at the back is a bit more on Getaway and at first glance it looked to me more like a pickup truck from Tata .The Scorpio Getaway will be available in 4X2 (2WD) and 4X4 (four-wheel drive) options and in four body colours.

I know comparing Hummer with Scorpio is like comparing apples with oranges but thats what it is.

The Scorpio Getaway 2WD `Double Cab' would also be priced at about Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom).
Not sure how the Indian market takes this one.........!!
