GTalk Moods

GTalk or Google Talk is one of the most popular ways to chat with our friends on the internet. What I have observed recently is, not only its used to chatting its also used to convey the persons moods/thoughts/beliefs to all the people on his/hers freinds list. If you are still wondering how is is done? the answer is simple thorough the "Custom Status Message".

In the custom message, I usually have the current post title on my blog and my blogs URL and most of my blogger friends also have their blogs URL. Most of them have what they want to tell to the world in this field, some have quatatons, some have the song they are listning to and some have messages which are intented to a particular person which only that person will understand. Basically it's conveying our moods to others.

Below are some of the GTalk moods(unedited) that my friends had in the recent past. Some are funny and some are thought provoking:

Life would be much easier if I had the source code...

IF WE CAN'T LOVE THE PERSON WHOM WE SEE, HOW CAN WE LOVE GOD, WHOM WE CANNOT SEE..

TGIF

When the sun shines, we’ll shine together Told you I'll be here forever Said I'll always be a friend Took an oath I'ma stick it out till the end Now that it's raining more than ever Know that we'll still have each other You can stand under my umbrella You can stand under my umbrella

not avaliable

COUNT DOWN begins ..... 10

There would always be those, whom you respect - no matter what. And what if they misunderstand you?? Wish them well and continue respecting them. The way you live your life should not be a value judgement on others, it should only reflect what you stand for.

A soul in tension thats learning to fly Condition grounded but determined to try Across the clouds I see my shadow fly Out of the corner of my watering eye

The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for

A sense of duty is useful in work, but offensive in personal relations. People wish to be liked, not be endured with patient resignation.

"Dont' Wait..The time will never be just right...!!!

You gotta hurt in order to know. Fall in order to grow. Lose in order to gain. Because most of life's lessons are learned in pain.

Sometimes people put up walls, not to keep others out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.

" OM Shirdi Vasaya Vidamahe Sachidananda Dhimahi tanno Sai Prachodayath"

It's not who you are thats holds you back, it's who you think you're not

Sometimes I wonder if men and women really suit each other. Perhaps they should live next door and just visit now and then.

Its fall here...

Grey cells @ work

Remember you are born to Live. Don't live because you are born!! Don't go the way life takes you...Take life the way you go!!

The spaces between your fingers were created so that another's could fill them in.

What Next ... Roadmap to Sucees...

Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

Its Monday :-(

God just gave you one heart to let you find the other one.

Day 1 --> So far so good

There would always be those, whom you respect - no matter what. And what if they misunderstand you?? Wish them well and continue respecting them. The way you live your life should not be a value judgement on others, it should only reflect what you stand for.

Another turning point,a fork stuck in the road Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go So make the best of this test, and don't ask why It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right...sumday i hope to have the time of my life

Aaaaachooo!!

It's like a million bells ringing in my head, 1000 workers banging from inside with sledge hammers, it feels like my head got 10,000 times heavier, its like seeing RamGopal Varma ki 'Aag' on 1000 screens at one go, its like listening to Anoop Jalota, Pankaj Udhas, Altaf Raja, Anu Malik, Ramana Gogula together 'live' on one stage.

All this due to the heavy cold which caught me couple of days back and still hanging around. Its very irritating and I cant do anything in such cases. I can't sleep, can't work, can't enjoy and basically I don't feel like doing anything!

Added to this, body pains and feverish feeling is horrible. And with all these feelings driving in Hyderabad is abso'bloody'lutely horrible.

Expect more from us!

This is not any caption from a hospitality industry nor from any bank or some service company. This is a statement on a huge hoarding right in front of HITEC City(Cyber Towers) showing off the 'so called' prestigious projects under taken by State Government and GHMC(Grater Hyderabad Municipal Co-operation earlier known as MCH).

Every day I will be held in traffic at HITEC City for 30 minutes on a stretch of 1 odd Kilometer moving inch by inch at snail pace. With curses for the inability of this Government to deal with traffic(in the matter of fact any problems) in my mouth and having nothing to do I gaze around and when ever I raise my head I directly see this Hoarding with "Expect more from us" written on it and our Chief Minister's photo merrily laughing right beside it.

As soon as I see that hoarding I get Psyched up and my teeth clinch in anger. Expect more from us? Yes, I also have this question, is it this uncontrollable traffic? Officials corrupt the core? increasing unsocial and terrorist activities? collapsing fly overs? Increasing prices of regular commodities? Land prices sky rocketing? Law and order gone for a toss?

Yes, we are expecting more!!

Ask a Stupid Question Day!

Yes, can you believe it, there is even a day for asking a "Stupid Question" and that is today! Huh...

I always thought, who the hell comes up with all such 'Stupid days'?, haha, I guess this might be my stupid question for the day. The hype for such days started with Valentines Day and later came Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Grandparents Day and what not.

Taken our culture, I think that there is no need for all such days. Its because we do not need a specific day to thank/to show love to our parents or the person whom we love. We always do it and we can always spend some time for them when needed or when ever we can.

Coming to my initial question, Who the hell creates such 'days'?

These "Days" are created by companies, special interest groups, sports teams, and not to forget the major contributor the greeting card companies(including Ecards) by simply declaring it so.

It seems some of these "days" are created because there isn't anything going on a particular day, and the card companies need something for every day of the year to keep their business running. The vast majority of these are local, one-time events that do not capture much attention and are soon forgotten. Official or not, a number of these take hold, and show up year after year.
At least one individual or company has created a number of humorous "days". They created the day, copyrighted it (believe it or not, it's true), and then wrote a book describing them. These "days" were created simply for profit.

Let us have some insight on, Origin of Ask a Stupid Question Day:

The roots of this special day goes back to the 1980's. At the time, there was a movement by teachers to try to get kids to ask more questions in the classroom. Kids sometimes hold back, fearing their question is stupid, and asking it will result in ridicule.Teachers created this day on September 28, If it fell on a weekend, they would celebrate it on the last day of the month.

Check out some weirdest days that are celebrated:

Chocolate Cake Day (Who needs a day for this, I eat it when ever I like)
Beer Can Appreciation Day (Same thig goes here also, I can drink when ever I like)
National Inane Answering Message Day (Who cares!!)
Clean out Your Computer Day (one in a year, come on)
Walking the Dog Day (If you dont walk, you have to clean its S&^%)
National Potato Chip Day ($$%^*&* &*&* &*%&^)
National Indian Pudding Day (No comments)
I Forgot Day (Holycow)
Father-in-Law Day (Hmmmm.....)
Walk Around Things Day (we do that daily, what crap)
Tell a Lie Day (It should be the other way, tell a truth)
Draw a Picture of a Bird Day (Who wants to draw a picture of a bird)
Rubber Eraser Day (Can some one erase this one)
Richter Scale Day (Wow....that shakes me off my feet!!)
Hairstyle Appreciation Day (hair today gone tomorrow)
Bad Poetry Day (Wanna try mine? he he he)

For the complete list of such days, click here. Now that all the days are over people have started celebrating months.........God save me.........Keep us away from such crap!!

Important FYI's:

FYI 1:

The Supreme Court has ruled that all injured persons especially in the case of road traffic accidents, assaults, etc., when brought to a hospital / medical centre, have to be offered first aid, stabilized and shifted to a higher centre / government centre if required.

It is only after this that the hospital can demand payment or complete police formalities.
In case you are a bystander and wish to help someone in an accident, please go ahead and do so.
Your responsibility ends as soon as you leave the person at the hospital. The hospital bears the responsibility of informing the police, first aid, etc.

Please do inform your family and friends about these basic rights so that we all know what to expect and what to do in the hour of need.

FYI 3:

Have u ever heard about LPG cylinder's expire date.

How to find LPG cylinder's expiry date?
Do you know that there is an expiry date (physical life) for LPG Cylinders?

Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. In this regard please be cautious at the time of accepting any LPG cylinder from the vendor.

Here is how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders:
On one of three side stems of the cylinder, the expiry date is coded
alpha numerically as follows A or B or C or D and some two digit number following this e.g. D06.

The alphabets stand for quarters -
A for March (First Qtr)
B for June (Second Qtr)
C for Sept (Third Qtr)
D for December (Fourth Qtr)

The digits stand for the year till it is valid.
Hence D06 would mean December qtr of 2006.

Please do not accept the cylinder if the date has already expired.
"A" stands for the first quarter i.e. January to March and
"07" stands for the present year 2007.

We all were still confused with the terms used above.

A-07 indicates the expiry life of cylinder and not the GAS filled in it. This cylinder should not be used and returned to the gas dealer. Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. ALL concerned should take necessary steps.

If you have any other important FYI's that can help us in our daily life, please do email me @ bharani.surineni@gmail.com, I will be glad to post them to share it with everyone.

Safe farewell to lord Ganesha

Amidst thousands of Cops and para military forces, we bid adieu to Lord Ganesha yesterday. People who were on the roads yesterday has to say that there were more cops on the roads than devotees. All this due to the bomb threat during this period and few unsocial activities happening in the recent past.

As the saying goes, all is good that ends good. The fare well to Ganesha went on peacefully without any discord. Also, the rain god showering his blessings in the evening brought in fresh and extra enthusiasm in the devotees.

Coming to me, office declared holiday for Ganesh Visarjan as roads will be blocked due to the processions on the roads and might be also due to the bomb scare. So, having no were to go I stuck to my routine - eat, sleep, watch movies, music and sleep.

At last, one thing that went on without any problems in this Government......Phew!!
